Kathryn McFarland is a Brooklyn based fine art photographer.

I grew up with a passion for visual arts. It was my therapeutic outlet.

I was continuously focused on creating things by means of painting, drawing, or writing. But the second I got my hands on a camera I was hooked. After graduating high school and realizing how much I loved photography, I decided to continue my passion by studying photography for one year at the New York Film Academy.

The chaotic nature of my mind led me to a certain creativity that is consistently exhibited in my photographs. The majority of my work is concentrated on the various elements of floral beauty and the push-pull relationship between life and the destructive nature of our world. There is chaos from cosmos

I also enjoy watching indie films, European art studies, creative writing, and, of course, all things flowers.
